The Journey of Ram
๐Ÿโ™ˆ๐Ÿน

It all begins with a Ram.

In Greek mythology, there is Chrysomallos, the magical Golden Ram whose fleece became the legendary Golden Fleece. The ram rescued Phrixus and Helle, carrying them to safety.

Thousands of miles away, in another ancient tradition, there is Ram (or Rama), one of Hinduism’s most revered figures. His story is one of courage, duty, righteousness, and the triumph of good over evil.

Then look up at the stars.

There is Aries โ™ˆ๏ธŽ, the Ram – the constellation and zodiac sign represented by the same animal, its glyph resembling the ram’s face and curling horns.

And then there’s real Ram i.e. me.

So perhaps it’s just a coincidence…Or maybe Ram has been traveling through civilizations for thousands of years. ๐Ÿ˜„

From a Golden Ram in Greek mythology ๐Ÿ to the Ram of the zodiac โ™ˆ๏ธŽ to Ram/Rama in Indian tradition ๐Ÿน and finallyโ€ฆ me, Ram.

Different cultures. Different stories. Different symbols.

One name. One very long journey.

The Greeks had their Golden Ram.
The stars have Aries.
India has Rama.
And somehow, after thousands of yearsโ€ฆ another Ram ended up in Austin, Texas
, as one of my friends say – Ram of Austinapur
