Some poems, I will never forget on my life like this one from Mahadevi Verma.
This poem was on a page of calendar where the background image of jasmine flower with due drops. I had taken our this page from the calendar and pasted like a poster on the door of my room.
When I read this, the world around me seem so beautiful. These words just jog memories of my early days filled with fragrance:
Translation through AI
“When dawn smiles in golden hues,
Scattering vermilion in the dewy muse,
As timid rays in ripples play,
Dancing light in a fleeting sway.
Then blossoms wake in hush profound,
Veiled in leaves so soft around,
With trembling lashes, they impart—
“Oh, how intoxicating is this world’s heart!”
