This Poem is about an ascetic disciple of ‘Gautam Budhha’ whose name was Upagupta. The story revolves around his focus and devotion on good deeds which is not waivered by short term pleasure or mere attraction of a damsel, a beautiful dancer ‘Vasavadatta’.
