I came across the poem Upagupta by Rabindranath Tagore on 10th grade. It was one of the poem on my English literature class. I guess, the story touched to the core of my own image of a good person – the discipline, the abstinence and the composure. I thought of not only translating this in Hindi but also giving it a poem form, just like Tagore ji has written. So, here it is.
